Originally birthed as a school project, ten years later Apologetics.com stands as a ministry whose heart's desire is to spread a passionate defense of the truth claims of Christianity!
Consider this place a home – a home where you will meet, debate with, learn from, and interact with real life "staff apologists". Find yourselves in the company of family by requesting a speaker or attending one of our regional conferences. Dialogue and discover truths as we engage in the everyday cultural waves of thought and the intellectual waters of philosophical inquiry by plugging in to our discussion boards or calling in to our weekly live radio shows. And finally, grow and partner with our group by donating to our non-profit organization and sending us your feedback on all that we do.
We at Apologetics.com thank you for taking the time to journey with us on this road called life, where we look and labor for glimpses of the Good, the True, and the Beautiful – which ultimately lead us to the Creator of all that which is Good, True, and Beautiful!
Mission Statement
Apologetics.com exists to remove intellectual impediments to Christian faith, thereby enhancing believers' confidence in, and weakening skeptics' objections to, the gospel message.
The ministry of Apologetics.com has become an important part of the movement in Christian thought, philosophy, and apologetics in Southern California. They have a first-rank interactive website and a radio program through which they are proclaiming and defending the great truths of the Christian faith with "reverence and respect." They are making an impact!
Craig J. Hazen
Editor of Philosophia Christi
Director, Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics
Associate Professor of Comparative Religion and Apologetics, Biola University
Vision Statement
Apologetics.com aspires to provide first-rate Christian apologetics resources and training to the public through our website, radio broadcasts, publications, and related activities.
Doctrinal Statement
Apologetics.com recognizes the 66 books of the Protestant canon of the Bible as the only infallible rule of faith and practice. However, we also recognize the following post-biblical creeds and confessions as valuable and faithful though not infallible, expressions of Christian orthodoxy.
Other early church creeds and conciliar statements relevant to Christian orthodoxy may be profitably consulted, but we do not include them as part of our doctrinal standards. We also recognize the following modern, international, and interdenominational statements as paradigmatic expressions of evangelicalism.
- The World Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith (1951)
- The Lausanne Covenant (1974)
- The Manila Manifesto (1989)
Other modern confessions, statements of faith, and definitions relevant to evangelicalism may be profitably consulted, but we do not include them as part of our doctrinal standards.
I heartedly endorse Apologetics.com. It is a quick, convenient and yet deep resource for anyone interested in defending the truth of Christianity. It is changing the way people respond to non-believers.
Hugh Hewitt, J.D.
Emmy Award Winning Co-Host of the "Life and Times" on PBS

Lindsay Brooks
Lindsay Brooks is the Apologetics.com discussion board moderator and co-host of the Apologetics.com Radio Show.
A graduate of Musician’s Institute, he is a former songwriter/producer for legendary Motown music publisher, Jobete, and has done music for several major motion pictures. His passions for Theology, Church History and Philosophy have been focused through his love of music, resulting in a robust music ministry at several churches in the Los Angeles area.
Lindsay’s desire to share insights into the Christian aesthetic in light of new challenges—such as post-modernism and relativism—was a driving force behind establishing the Apologetics.com Life of the Mind Conference series. A profound love of the Gospel has led him to actively pursue alternative evangelization modes. Lindsay is a frequent public speaker on the subject of Christian Apologetics and has developed a workshop on the co-linguistics of music and its application to Christian liturgy.
He is Daddy to Tinisha and Gabrielle who are plotting to take over the world.
Harry Edwards
Harry Edwards has been married for almost fifteen years to Minerva. They have two young boys, Chase & Jonathan, who love to play with Legos and run around the house pretending to be super heroes. He is the founder, chairman and CEO of Apologetics.com, Inc., an organization dedicated to defending the truth claims of Christianity on the internet, radio and other related activities.
Harry Edwards received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education and a Masters of Arts degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University where he currently works full time managing the campus bookstore. He is an active member at Ocean View Baptist Church where he teaches in the adult Sunday school and leads and plays the drums for the praise and worship band. In his spare time, Harry enjoys doing things with his family, i.e., tennis, backpacking and mentoring others to realize their full potential in the service of our Lord.
Paul Hughes
… now we are six. Paul is married to Michele; they have four children. He earned the master’s in Christian apologetics at Biola and two others, in fine arts and English, from Chapman University — thereby becoming a living caution to the danger of over-education. He’s taught in many areas, from critical thinking to creative writing, which suggests how he ‘does’ apologetics, as the youth say these days. He’s a writer in Orange County. His fascinations include love, vision, story, and baseball, and consequently he has projects in many stages of incompletion on those very ideas. Paul’s trying to be quieter these days, and you shouldn’t unduly charm co-workers, so please try not to read his blog posts aloud.
Candace Jackson
Candace is originally from Houston, TX and graduated from Baylor University of Waco, TX with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/ Professional Writing in 2004. She has been attending Talbot Seminary of La Mirada, CA for several years, where she is currently completing her Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling. She currently serves as an assistant hospital chaplain in Fountain Valley when she is not working as a substitute teacher with the Garden Grove School District. When she is not studying, she enjoys attending lectures, writing short stories and poetry, singing in her church choir, leading a Bible study, discipling women, and participating in "street apologetics" in her beloved community of Huntington Beach. Her ultimate goal upon graduation from theological seminary is to serve God and her country as a military chaplain in the California Army National Guard, for which she is currently in the process of training. She has two cats (Keli and Kobi) who play a big role in her daily spiritual formation.
Carolyn Kim
A small town girl, Carolyn Kim came to Southern California to attend Biola University where she received her bachelor's in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and an M.A. in Apologetics. Her day job keeps her busy working as a communication specialist on everything from being an account executive for major non-profits and ministries to working on website management and search engine optimization.
Her passion for communications goes hand in hand for her love of apologetics, especially relativism, the resurrection and pluralism. With the goal bringing Truth to the culture, Carolyn loves speaking to any kind of group--from adult Sunday school classes to youth groups, from conferences to weekend retreats.
A newlywed, "spare time" seems to be in scarce supply, but when available she enjoys tennis, hanging out at the local beach and reading. She's hoping to further expand her communication skills, learning the Korean language.
Jeremy Livermore
Jeremy David Livermore received his Masters in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. He has several years of evangelistic experience working with various organizations such as Campus Crusade, Engineering Ministries International, Africa Renewal Ministries, & Lifewater.
Jeremy received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. For the past 5 years, he has been working as a structural engineer designing mid-rise buildings for a global architecture & engineering firm. He received his professional license in 2007. Jeremy also vacations to Africa to design facilities for communities in need with EMI. When not writing for apologetics.com, Jeremy enjoys leading a lifegroup with his church and playing semi-pro football.
Daniel Martin
Daniel is currently two semesters away from graduating from Biola University with his MA in philosophy. He graduated from Florida State with a BA in Finance and Mandarin Chinese, and a BS in Multinational Business Operations. Dan grew up in the church as an apathetic Christian who, at the age of 18, had a crisis of faith. After telling his devout Christian mother that God had better intervene or he would leave his faith behind, he started studying apologetics. His mother’s patient understanding and apologetics saved his faith, while philosophy and theology nurtured it (and still do). He is broadly interested in analytic philosophy with particular interests in natural theology, philosophical theology, the metaphysics of theism, critiques of naturalism, and plenty else besides. He’d like to pursue a PhD in philosophy. On June 5th, 2010 he married the best woman ever, Sarah Swartz (now Sarah Martin), who is currently pursuing her BA in philosophy at Biola University. She is the integral part of his abundant life.
Mike McCoy
Mike McCoy currently serves as Staff Apologist and Director of Research for Apologetics.com, Inc. He holds a Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) in Theology from Covington Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University where his areas of emphasis were cults and Islamic studies. Mike has a passion for teaching and equipping others to defend the truth claims of Christianity. A caring heart for those in distress has lead him to become a licensed and ordained Crisis Response Chaplain for police, fire and sheriff departments, where he continues his training and education. Mike is currently pursuing a second Doctorate of Ministry in Biblical Counselling from Covington Theological Seminary. He lives in Eugene, Oregon with his wife and daughter (born 1997, in Russia), and the family enjoys music, outdoor activities and appreciating the beauties of God’s creation of the Pacific Northwest.
Christopher Neiswonger
Christopher Neiswonger is a long time host of the Apologetics.com Radio Show. His interest in Apologetics was born of his own deeply personal conflicts in regard to the nature of God and the content of the Bible. It seems that the most important question a human being can ask is, “How can we know?” Christopher is an adjunct professor of International Human Rights at Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California having received his Juris Doctor from Trinity Law, an MA in Communication and Culture from Trinity Graduate School and is currently pursuing an MBA in International Development (he also works for one of the worlds largest advocacy, relief, and development NGOs). He has twice received the highest honours from the Los Angeles Music Awards and twice been nominated for Dove awards by the Gospel Music Association. He is married with four children and lives in Los Angeles, California
Richard Park
Richard Park is a professor of philosophy and theology at Biola University (La Mirada, CA). Born into a Mormon family and son of then Mormon Branch President, Rev. Brian M. Park, Rich and his family came to faith in Christ in his fifth grade year. Since then, Rich went on to complete his undergraduate degree from the University of California (Berkeley) and two graduate degrees from Biola University – one in Education and the other in Philosophy. Rich currently serves as a board member and staff apologist at Apologetics.com, Inc, and is the director of Culture Talk – a non-profit organization committed to the renewal of culture.
Previously, Rich was a public high school teacher in the Southern California area. During this time, Rich developed a deep compassion and sensitivity for the youth culture as seen in the lives of his students. This experience has helped focus his speaking interests particularly on truth and culture – the intersection between what one knows and how one lives.
Rich has been a frequent seminar and keynote speaker at conferences around the world, addressing topics such as culture, postmodernity, popular media, and the need for worldwide air-conditioning. Rich truly enjoys the Good, the True, and the Beautiful – which include volleyball, red wine, and the great outdoors.
Andy Steiger
Andy Steiger is currently completing a Masters Degree in Apologetics at Biola University. Although he is originally from Portland, Oregon he has been living in Vancouver, British Columbia for the past 12 years. He first came to Canada to complete his B.A. in Biblical Studies. Upon completion he worked for 7 years as a pastor to teenagers and college students. He met his wife Nancy in college and they have been married for 8 years and have 2 little boys, Tristan (2 years old) and William (9 months old). Andy and Nancy love serving in missions and travel. As newlyweds, they traveled the world for over a year with just a backpack and $30 a day. Not only did they learn a lot about each other through those adventures but about people and God. In fact, Andy feels that the much of his education in apologetics has been learned through ministry and travel. That all said, the most important thing in Andy’s life is his relationship with Jesus Christ. At 17 he stopped fighting his belief in God and began seeking out who this God was. A short time later, he found Jesus Christ and has enjoyed the adventure of faith ever since. He enjoys serving the Lord in discipleship, apologetics and speaking. Andy’s other joys are laughing, reading, anything in nature and spending time with his boys.
Mia Song
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Mia was saved at a young age and had always had an interest in Christian apologetics. Many of her friends and family are not saved, which has spurred on her interest in apologetics. Mia majored in Design as an undergrad at University of California, Davis, then continued to Biola University graduate school to complete a Master of Arts degree in Christian Apologetics. Mia enjoys being married. She admits she has a weird affinity for architecture, interior architecture, graphic design, and japanese stuff (i.e. music, anime, graphic design, architecture, gadgets, and other useless things that the japanese come up with).
Steve Tsai
Steve graduated from Biola university with a bachelors degree in communications and a masters degree in philosophy. He currently is a host for the apologetic.com radio show, and enjoys speaking to high-schoolers and collegians about the deeper questions in life. His apologetic method is eclectic, and his philosophical interests include philosophical theology, philosophy of mind, and free will and determinism issues. He currently resides in Bellflower, California.
