Options in Divine Action

This weekend I spoke at Lake Geneva Youth Camp in southern Wisconsin. There were hundreds of students, some of whom already knew what apologetics was (which is great!). They asked some very good questions … I was impressed!

During an afternoon open Q&A session, the students began to ask questions more narrowly focused in the field of theology, particularly pertaining to divine sovereignty, providence, and action, and human freedom. Here is a chart that nicely lays out many of the options in a spectrum, though I am not sure if the options here are exhaustive. All credit goes to Thomas Jay Oord of NNU.
