Liberal Theology ()

Liberal Theology has never been a more potent force in the world or the church. Christless churches can sound the same, look the same, have forceful preaching toward conversion and transformation, social and personal. The name of Jesus is there - as are good works recognized by the kingdom. Second Temple Judaism had the same when Jesus came and declared it a white-washed tomb full of dead men's bones, and Jesus said, "If you do not believe that I am the one that I say I am you will die in your sins." He didn't like the mere accoutrements of religion, the hushed prayers of those interested in spirituality or the gods of this world. Mere religion is a poison and Christ demands an absolute kind of fidelity - one that prizes above all his word, the atonement for sins and the resurrection from the dead.
