Scientific breakthroughs have made several human enhancements possible: CRISPR genetic engineering, artificial bionic limbs, brain microchip implants, RFID identification microchip implants, synthetic blood, and many more. With genetic engineering, humans may live much longer lives as vulnerability to disease and loss of health will be greatly reduced. We can categorize these as either healing therapies that restore what was lost or advances to give humans improved capacities above the normal. Many ethical questions arise. Does Christianity offer any insight?
