Playing God? ()

Jon Noyes, 2018-12-15
Part of the Radio Show series, preached at a Saturdays service

A Stanford trained geneticist announced a few weeks ago that he had successfully edited the genes of two embryos to protect them from inheriting HIV from their father. The newborn twins appear to be HIV free and healthy. Leading geneticists condemned the action. Why? What ought the Christian response be? On this episode of Radio join hosts Jon Noyes and Dr. Leslie Wickman along with special guest Dr. James Peterson, professor of ethics at Roanoke College and Virginia Tech Medical School as they grapple with this event and the implication that flow from it.
