Secularization and the Life of the Mind: A Way Forward ()

Harry Edwards, 2020-01-25
Part of the Radio Show series, preached at a Saturdays service

In this show we cover ideas that deal with our conceptions of secularization and the life of the mind. Then we try to imagine a way forward -- how we ought to behave in our actions and thinking. We introduce concepts from Charles Taylor, Mark Noll and others who have helped us think through our secular world and how to reach it for Christ. We introduce concepts such as "cross-pressures," "prototypical human gestures" and "common ground" we believe are helpful to understand and apply to our conversations with our skeptical friends and loved ones about the Gospel. This show was hosted by Harry Edwards and is joined by Lenny Esposito and Dr. Jacob Daniel.
